Alexandre Joly
Freelance tech lead and full-stack developer, based in Zurich. 20+ years of shipping software — from software engineering at Bühler AG, through co-founding a digital studio (KiloKilo GmbH), to freelance technical leadership for Swiss enterprise clients.
The projects I take on tend to be ones where the architecture matters — banking, government, infrastructure. In these sectors, "we'll fix it in the next sprint" tends to have actual consequences. I come in, understand the problem, lead the technical work, and make sure it ships.
Trilingual — English, German, French — which actually matters when your clients are spread across Romandy, Deutschschweiz, and everything in between.
Outside work: bouldering, tinkering with a Kubernetes homelab, and building side projects that solve mildly annoying problems with entirely disproportionate technology.

Control System Engineer — Bühler AG
Software engineering apprenticeship, then stayed on as a developer. Built control system software for flour mills and food processing plants in .NET. Making those systems work in software wasn't glamorous, but I learned what production-grade really means.
